Rheoplus TA2010

Sepiolsa is the only manufacturer in Europe of rheology modifiers for the coatings industry based on attapulgite clays. Rheoplus TA2010 is a fine powder additive which generates higher viscosity and displays higher dispersibility than any other attapulgite clay in the market. It is introduced and dispersed into water easier and faster, saving a lot of energy.

Rheoplus TA2015

Rheoplus TA2015 is created by Sepiolsa, the only manufacturer in Europe of rheology modifiers for the coatings industry based on attapulgite clays. It is a rheology modifier and thickener and suitable for latex and other general water-based formulations and foundry coatings.

Rheoplus® TS2020

Rheoplus® TS2020 is a powder additive from sepiolite that modifies the rheology in aqueous systems.

 

Applications

  • Mortars – Smoother termination, anti-sagging, cellulose derivative replacement, workability and lower exudation.
  • Shotcrete – Decreases rebound, improves fluidity and adherence.
  • Pumping of concrete – Avoids segregation and increases fluidity.
  • Polisher – Thickener, controls syneresis and settling.
  • Fertilisers (Suspensions) – Anti-settling.

Rheoplus® TS3010A

Rheoplus® TS3010A is an easy dispersing powder additive from high purity sepiolite that modifies the rheology of aqueous systems.

Applications

  • Tile adhesives – Smoothness, anti-slipping, partial cellulose derivative replacement, workability and better adherence.
  • Mortars – Smoother termination, anti-sagging, cellulose derivative replacement, workability and lower exudation.
  • Gypsum plasters – Decreases rebound, improves fluidity and adherence.
  • Fibercement and building boards – Improves the homogeneity of the slurry, decreases fine particle losses, improves plasticity and inter-laminar bonding. Gives smoother surface boards.
  • Emulsions – Improved surface termination, emulsifier, improved stability, pseudoplasticity and thixotropy and water resistance.
  • Sound dampening – Controls flow, decreases thermal sensitivity and processing aids.
  • Cut-back – Controls the flow properties at low and high temperature, avoiding sag and anti-settling of fillers. Surfactants are needed; in some formulations a polar activator is necessary.
  • Paints – Rheoplus® TS3010A can be used in water-based paints, paint strippers and solvent paints.
  • Coatings – Thickener, anti-settling and controls sag.
  • Polisher – Thickener, controls syneresis and settling.
  • Fertilisers (Microcrystalline) – Anti-settling and controls crystal growth.

Rheoplus® TS3010B

Rheoplus® TS3010B is a powder additive from high purity sepiolite that modifies the rheology in aqueous systems.

 

Applications

  • Shotcrete – Decreases rebound, improves fluidity and adherence.
  • Gypsum plasters – Decreases rebound, improves fluidity and adherence.
  • Sound dampening – Controls flow, decreases thermal sensitivity, processing aids.
  • Friction – Homogeneity, helps in aramid fiber opening, improves shaping, dimensional stability, mechanical strength, and stabilises friction co-efficient.
