Our range of high grade, colour changing photochromic pigments are delivered through our partnership with leading colour change material supplier, NCC.
Products made with photochromic pigments change colour when exposed to UV (or sunlight), changing back to their original colour when the UV or light stimuli is either dimmed or blocked. These photochromic pigments change colour when exposed to UV, from colourless (without UV) to coloured (with UV).
Our range of high grade, photochromic masterbatch pigments are delivered through our partnership with leading colour change material supplier NCC.
Photochromic masterbatch is made by injection moulding of 1% photochromic dye, 99% plastic, UV stabiliser and anti-oxidants.

Photochromic original powder dyes do not react to UV, they need to be dissolved in a medium (solvent, resin or polymer) in order to function. Our range of high grade Photochromic OP powders are delivered through our partnership with leading colour change material supplier, NCC.
Applications:
Suitable for:
Benefits:
Organic dyes
Please note: this photochromic dye cannot be injection moulded at temperatures over 250℃ due to its low decomposition temperature. The solvent compatibilities of photochromic dyes are different. There are standard and specific formulations to be used depending on the media. Available for ink/paint applications. Improper formulations and speed can destroy colour fastness and colour changing properties.
Our range of high grade photochromic plastic powder dyes (or photochromic PS powders) are delivered through our partnership with leading colour change material supplier, NCC.
These photochromic plastic powder dyes, comprise of 1.5% photochromic dye and 95.8% PS plastic. The mixture is extruded and then grinded into powder, which can withstand processing temperatures of up to 180℃, containing moisture ≤ 0.5%.
The compatibility between PS powder and formulations should always be considered.
