DeCAL 4030 – Cost Effective Aqueous Styrene/Acrylic Emulsion Polymer

DeCAL 4030 is a low-cost universal thermoplastic styrene/acrylic copolymer in emulsion form offering excellent binding power, adhesion and gloss.

Applications

It is used in a wide range of applications including interior and exterior water-based paints, lacquers, adhesives and flexible fillers.

Films of DeCAL 4030 are clear, glossy, water resistant and flexible. Systems which are to be cured/dried below the minimum film forming temperature (MFFT) of the product will require a suitable coalescent agent to be included in the final formula, to ensure proper film formation.
