Esacol 55 MU

Esacol 55 MU is a hydrocolloid derived from natural raw materials, suitable for cement pre-mix; in particular the special modification makes it really useful for tile adhesive formulations.

Chemico-physical characteristics:

  • Chemical description: non-ionic modified polysaccharide
  • pH: 6.0 – 8.0 (2% w/w water sol)
  • Appearance: free-flowing powder
  • Moisture: < 5%
  • Bulk density: 0.60 – 0.70 g/ml
  • Particle size: 95% < 60 mesh
  • Solubility: complete at pH > 8.5
  • Brookfield RVT: 23000 – 28000 mPa*s (2% w/w solution, 20’C, 20 rpm)
