Esacol HS 20
Esacol HS 20 is a hydrocolloid belonging to the polysaccharides family, soluble both in hot and cold water, suitable as thickener, rheology modifiers, and water retention agent.

- Chemical description: non-ionic modified polysaccharide
- pH: 6.0 – 9.5 (2% w/w water sol)
- appearance: ivory-flowing powder
- moisture: < 4%
- bulk density: 0.60 – 0.80 g/ml
- particle size: 99.9% > 35 mesh
- solubility: complete both in hot and cold
- Brookfield RVT viscosity: 8000 – 11000 mPa*s (2% w/w solution, 20’C, 20 rpm)

Gypsum/lime plasters:
0.15 – 0.30%
Cement/lime plasters:
0.10 – 0.16%
