Esapon MX 44

Esapon MX 44 is a thickener/water retention agent coming from natural raw materials, designed to improve the workability and ease of spreading of gypsum-based plasters (no lime).

Chemico-physical characteristics:

  • Chemical description: non-ionic modified polysaccharide
  • pH: 6.0 – 8.0 (2% w/w water sol.)
  • Appearance: ivory-flowing powder
  • Moisture: < 5%
  • Bulk density: 0.6 – 0.8 g/ml
  • Particle size: 95% < 60 mesh ASTM
  • Solubility: complete
  • Brookfield RVT viscosity: 6000 – 8000 mPa*s (2% w/w solution, 20’C, 20 rpm)

0.10-0.30%

Gypsum-based adhesive:

0.20-0.40%
