Key Characteristics:

  • Excellent compatibility with various polymers
  • Outstanding balance of tack, adhesion and cohesion
  • Low molecular weight
  • Good chemical stability
  • Low volatility and low odour

Typical Properties:

  • Colour (50% resin solid in Toluene) (ASTM D1544): Max.6 Ga #
  • Softening point (Ring & Ball) (ASTM E28): 110-120 °C
  • Melt viscosity (180℃) (ASTM D3236): Max.1200 mPa·s
  • Saponification Number (ASTM D94): Max 1.5 mg KOH/g

Applications:

  • Equivalent of polyterpene resins in adhesive tapes, PSA and hot melt adhesives.
