Esacol 203

Esacol 203 is a chemically modified hydrocolloid of natural origin; this modification leads to a product suitable as water retentive agent in building formulations.

  • Ph: 6.0 – 9.0 (2% sol, w/w, 20’C)
  • Aspect: free flowing ivory-brown powder
  • Humidity: <8%
  • Bulk density: 0.60 – 0.80 g/ml
  • Granulometry: 99.9% < 35 mesh
  • Solubility: complete both in hot and cold water
  • Brookfield RVT viscosity: 3000-6000 mPa*s (2% sol, w/w, 20’C, 20rpm)

Gypsum wall plaster:
0.2-0.3%

Cement and lime based plaster:

0.1-0.2%

Cement skim coat:

0.2-0.5%

Cement grout:
0.01-0.35%
