Esacol 210H

Esacol 210H is a hydrocolloid belonging to the polysaccahrides family. It’s soluble both in hot and cold water and it’s suitable to be used as thickener, rheology modifier and water retention agent. Is also treated with an anticaking agent in order to increase its humidity resistance.

Chemico-physical characteristics:

• Chemical description: modified polysaccharide
• pH: 6.0 – 9.0 (2% w/w water sol)
• Appearance: ivory brown-flowing powder
• Moisture: < 8%
• Bulk density: 0.60 – 0.80 g/ml
• Particle size: 99/9% < 35 mesh
• Solubility: complete both in hot and cold water
• Brookfield RVT: 2500 – 5500 mPa*s (2% w/w solution, 20’C, 20 rpm)

Gypsum/lime plasters:

0.15-0.30%

Cement adhesive:

0.35-0.50%

Esacol 50D1 is a hydro-colloid soluble both in hot and cold water. Special modifications make it suitable as a thickener and a water retentive agent.
