Esacol MX 118
Esacol MX 118 is a hydrocolloid belonging to the polysaccharides family, soluble both in hot and cold water, suitable as thickener, rheology modifier, and water retention agent.

- Chemical description: non-ionic modified polysaccharide
- pH: 7.0 – 9.0 (2% w/w water sol.)
- Appearance: free-flowing ivory powder
- Moisture: < 4%
- Bulk density: 0.65 g/ml
- Particle size: 95% < 60 mesh
- Solubility: complete both in hot and cold water
- Brookfield RVT viscosity: 10000 – 12000 mPa*s (2% w/w solution, 20’C, 20 rpm)
