Esacol MX 444 is a hydro-colloid soluble both in hot and cold water, belonging to the family of the modified polysaccharides.

Chemico-physical characteristics:

  • Chemical description: non-ionic modified polysaccharide
  • pH: 6.0 – 8.0 (2% w/w water sol.)
  • Appearance: free-flowing ivory powder
  • Moisture: < 4%
  • Bulk density: 0.6 – 0.7 g/ml
  • Particle size: 90% < 140 mesh
  • Solubility: complete at pH > 8.5
  • Brookfield RVT viscosity: 8000 – 10000 mPa*s (2% w/w solution, 20’C, 20 rpm)
