DeCAL 1107 BIO – A bio-based thickener
Containing up to 30% bio-based content, DeCAL 1107 BIO is ideal for multiple water-based paint and coating systems.
A high efficiency modified acrylic copolymer emulsion in water. This high molecular weight hydrophobic polymer provides a rheological control effect through extensive swelling and association in alkaline conditions. This product improves flow and leveling performance whilst retaining high thickening efficiency. The use of DeCAL 1107 BIO also provides improved sag resistance and anti-settling and gives much less spattering in paints applied by roller.
Applications
High PVC emulsion paints, acrylic sealants/fillers, low cost wood treatments and spray applied systems.
