The DeCAL 9000 Series is a diverse range of water treatment chemicals, from anti-scalant for water treatment of boilers and cooling systems to polyacrylates for thickening water-based solutions in a variety of industrial settings.
DeCAL 9050 is a screed additive combining next generation plasticiser technology with a unique pumping aid. DeCAL 9050 gives rapid drying times and high early strengths whilst allowing the screed to be pumped over long distances without a change in workability or consistency. Standard rapid drying screed additives under high internal pressures during pumping can cause issues with separation of the sand and aggregate, which results in a drop in strengths.
DeCAL 9050 prevents separation in the pipes and is not affected by latent plasticisation, maintaining the desired screed consistency after pumping. Latent plasticisation can cause an increase in workability, preventing the screed from being laid as it is too fluid. Use of DeCAL 9050 prevents this effect.
DeCAL 9050 has application in a wide range of screeds, including in underfloor heating, interior and external applications.

DeCAL 9800 is a synthetic water absorbing polymer designed to aid water management by improving the moisture retentive properties of all types of growing media. It is valuable in horticulture, arboriculture and agriculture.
When mixed with a growing medium, DeCAL 9800 can absorb large quantities of water. The water forms discrete gel particles in and around the root zone, from which the plants then extract water as required. As a result of improved water retention, drainage and evaporation losses are reduced, less watering is required, and optimum plant growth is achieved.
The use of DeCAL 9800 can reduce fertiliser losses caused by leaching and run-off.

DeCAL 9820 is designed to partially replace the surfactants typically used in crop spray treatments. E.g. tallow amine ethoxylate found in standard glyphosate formulations.
DeCAL 9820 is a drift reduction aid which also gives reduced leaf bounce and enhanced adhesion.
There are four major difficulties in spraying herbicide and pesticide crop treatments, namely drift control, droplet bounce, product absorption through waxy leaves and rain fastness. Low dosages of DeCAL 9820 of 100-400 mg will narrow the droplet size distribution to reduce fines and inhibit drift. Its contribution to surface chemistry and internal rheology results in greater droplet adhesion to the leaves. This can also resist rainfall wash-off.
