DeCAL 9317 can be used as a thickener, viscosity modifier and binder in medium solids applications.
Applications
DecAL 9317 can be used to stabilize and thicken water-borne solutions and dispersions of all kinds of particulate matter. It can be used: as an extender with bentonite thickeners in drilling fluids; in the oil industry; in ceramics, for dispersing and binding of clay bodies; in detergents for ion sequestering; in adhesives as a water retention aid; and in plaster and mortars as a rheology modifier.
